Slowdown Summit

The Slowdown Summit was born from a simple but radical question: What if leadership could move at a human pace? As the brand designer and strategist behind this emerging event, I’ve had the opportunity to build an entire ecosystem for a summit that challenges hustle culture and promotes well-being, calm, and psychological safety.

My role began at the foundation. I worked as one of the founders of the summit to shape the brand strategy, translating our vision into a clear, compelling narrative that positioned the summit as an antidote to the “always-on” culture so common in professional spaces. From there, I developed a visual identity that balances modern, forward-looking design with a sense of warmth and spaciousness.

I took this brand language into a cohesive, human-centered landing page that prioritizes clarity and intentional design. Clean typography, thoughtful color palettes, and gentle animations make the experience feel aligned with the summit’s mission. I structured the information architecture to guide visitors through the purpose of the event, how to learn more, and how to get involved.

On social media, I stepped into a hybrid role as content strategist and designer, creating and managing posts that build a sense of community while educating audiences on the benefits of slowing down. Through reels, carousels, and storytelling content, I helped grow awareness of the Slowdown Summit across platforms. Within the first month, we grew our Instagram audience by 94 followers, our LinkedIn following by 237, and added 40 new subscribers to the newsletter, demonstrating strong early interest and community momentum.

These efforts have also sparked several sponsorship commitments and secured early speaker commitments, proving that thoughtful, mission-aligned branding can inspire confidence and buy-in before the event even launches.

Though the summit itself is still ahead, this project continues to prove how multidisciplinary design and brand strategy can unite to spark a movement — one that invites leaders to slow down, reflect, and lead with greater intention.
